Apart from being the manufacturer, supplier and exporter of aforesaid range, we are also involved in the manufacture of Refractories & Monolithics including Isostatically Pressed Continuous Casting Refractories, Slide Gate Plates Refractories, Inner and Outer Nozzles & Well Blocks, Tundish Nozzles, Bottom Purging Refractories & Top Purging Lances, etc. to meet the varied needs of Iron and Steel industry. We are also a noted importer of Calcium Bauxite (calcined & alumina fused product) as well as Graphite Electrodes (used as raw material) from the markets of China.

Our company was established in technical collaboration with Karborundum, Bentueky, Czechoslovakia by the Rajgarhia group of industries as a venture to manufacture Calcined and Fused Alumina products. High Alumina Raw Materials

The Brown Fused Alumina (BFA) manufactured at our unit is available in sizes as per FEPA for abrasive applications and group grits for refractory applications.

The major raw material used for manufacture of our High Alumina Raw Materials - Bauxite is sourced primarily from the Company’s own mines located in Jamnagar and Bhuj districts of Gujarat. Other raw materials like Calcined Alumina, high purity Silica Sand, Zircon Sand, Graphite Electrodes, etc. are sourced from authentic manufacturers. Our concern has a well trained group of technical specialists at customer sites to service any technical and commercial needs, which enables us to sell on a Total Refractory Management basis to a large number of our clients.

Our Infrastructural Setup
OAL's manufacturing facilities are located in Porbandar, Gujarat and Bhiwadi, Rajasthan. Our Porbandar, Gujarat facility was set up in technical collaboration with Karborundum, Bentueky, Czechoslovakia and is the largest producer of synthetic high alumina materials in India, today. Over here, the current installed capacity of the plant for Fused Aluminum Oxide Grains is 21,000 MT and for Calcined products is 74,250 MT; with a plan of increasing the installed capacity of Fused Aluminum Grains to 36,000 MT.

The refractory manufacturing facility is based in Bhiwadi, Rajasthan; spread over 27 acres of land. The division currently produces more than 20,000 pieces of slide gate plate, 18,000 pieces of Continuous Casting Refractory products and over 2000 tons of castables and mortars on a monthly basis. We even have an allied plant based in Salem, Tamilnadu for manufacturing monolithics, and some castables are manufactured at the Porbandar, Gujarat plant.

All our manufactured products are the result of an intensive development effort, which is carried out at our company's Government of India recognized in-house Research and Development facility. This unit is fully equipped to carry out all testing and development activities with a wide range of equipment including XRD Equipment, TG – DTA, Dialotometer – RTE, Thermal Conductivity Apparatus, Creep Tester and HOMR testing equipment.
